However, he was forced off late in the game, and subsequent medical tests revealed a lesion in his left adductor, ruling him out for approximately ten days, according to L’Equipe.
The injury comes as a challenge for coach Willy Sagnol, who is already grappling with the absence of midfielder Jaroslav Plasil, sidelined with an ankle issue. Meanwhile, new signing Diego Contento is also facing minor health concerns, with the club confirming he will undergo minor dermatological surgery.
