Bony Ange-Yoan is ready to join Ivory Coast – Coach Emerse Fae reveals
Head coach of Ivory Coast Emerse Fae has confirmed Bony Ange-Yoan’s readiness to represent the Elephant at the international level.
Despite agreeing to feature for Ivory Coast, the highly-rated inter Milan marksman will miss the upcoming FIFA international friendlies against South Korea and Scotland due to health issues.
The France-born forward, who recently pledged his international future to Ivory Coast, has already given his consent to join the national team.
However, Fae explained that the striker is currently dealing with a dental problem that requires attention before he can pull on the Elephants’ shirt.
“Bony Ange-Yoan is ready to join the Elephants,” Fae told reporters. “I spoke to him on the phone last Monday. He has a dental problem, so we preferred to leave him at his club to ensure he is fit, perform well, and then join us later.”
The decision reflects a careful approach to managing the player’s health and form. Fae emphasized that it is important for Ange-Yoan to be fully recovered before integrating into the squad, ensuring he can contribute at his best when he eventually joins the team.
The striker’s absence from the upcoming friendlies will be felt, as Ivory Coast prepares to test their squad ahead of crucial fixtures. Still, the Elephants’ coach is optimistic about his future inclusion and the impact he can have once fully fit.
Bony Ange-Yoan’s arrival is highly anticipated by both the coaching staff and fans, with expectations that his pace, technical skill, and attacking instincts will add a new dimension to the Ivorian attack. Once recovered, he is expected to become a key figure for the national team in the build-up to major competitions.
