Bogi joins Dayrout SC as Egyptian forward leaves La Viena FC

Egyptian centre-forward Bogi has joined Dayrout SC on a free transfer from La Viena FC, strengthening the club’s attacking options ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The 27-year-old completed the move on 12 August 2026 and has signed a contract with Dayrout SC until 30 June 2028. The transfer brings an end to his time with La Viena FC, whom he joined earlier in the 2025-26 campaign.

Bogi made the switch to La Viena FC from El Alameen on 26 January 2026, also on a free transfer. His latest move means he has changed clubs twice during the past year, after beginning the 2025-26 season with El Alameen.

The Cairo-born forward came through the youth system at Ittihad before joining Enppi SC Under-21 in July 2017. He later spent the second half of the 2018-19 season on loan at Tunisian club US Monastir, returning to Enppi SC Under-21 at the end of that spell.

Bogi subsequently moved through a number of Egyptian clubs, joining Banha from Enppi SC Under-21 in 2021 and then Kahraba in September 2022. He moved to El Sekka SC in January 2023 before spells with Olympic Alexandria, Dekernes and Entag El Harby.

His previous transfer history includes several free moves, with his loan switch to US Monastir the only recorded temporary spell. He arrives at Dayrout SC after a career that has also included appearances in Ligue 1 and the Premier League, although those records comprise three appearances in each competition.

Bogi has also been involved in fixtures in the Egypt Cup and Tunisian Cup. His recorded career includes 16 minutes in Ligue 1 and 32 minutes in the Premier League, while no goals or assists are recorded in those appearances.

The attacker’s highest recorded market value was €50,000, reached during his time with Banha and Enppi SC Under-21. Dayrout SC will now become the latest club in a career spent between Egyptian football and a brief spell in Tunisia.

Bogi’s free-transfer move from La Viena FC to Dayrout SC was completed on 12 August 2026, with his new contract running until June 2028.
