Black Galaxies captain Razak Simpson insists team is fully focused ahead of Bafana Bafana friendly
Captain of Ghana’s Black Galaxies, Razak Simpson, has underlined the team’s determination and focus as they prepare to face South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in an international friendly.
Ghana’s CHAN side will lock horns with the South Africans on Tuesday, December 16, in a match that forms part of Bafana Bafana’s build-up to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Simpson made it clear that the Black Galaxies are treating the fixture with the seriousness it deserves, stressing the confidence within the squad.
The skipper assured Ghanaians that the players are mentally and physically ready for the challenge, pointing to the positive attitude shown by his teammates in camp.
“We are approaching the game against Bafana Bafana with full seriousness and confidence in our abilities. My teammates have shown great eagerness and readiness for the challenge,” Simpson said as quoted by ghanafa.org.
The friendly will be played at the Dobsonville Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 pm on Tuesday. The Black Galaxies have already held an initial training session on Sunday and are expected to round off preparations with a final workout on Monday ahead of the clash.
