Bilal Nadir: Morocco-France midfielder linked with Getafe move after Marseille exit

Morocco-France midfielder Bilal Nadir, currently without a club after leaving Marseille this summer, is being linked with a move to LaLiga side Getafe. The 22-year-old central midfielder is understood to be on the Spanish club’s radar as they assess options to strengthen in the middle of the pitch.

Nadir became a free agent on 1 July 2026 following his departure from Marseille, where his last recorded market valuation was €8m. His status as an unattached player would allow Getafe to move for him without a transfer fee, a factor believed to be central to their interest as they look for cost-effective additions.

Born in Nice on 28 November 2003, Nadir came through the youth ranks at OGC Nice before joining Marseille’s set-up in 2021. He progressed from Marseille’s B team to the first team in 2023, earning a promotion that coincided with a sharp rise in his valuation from €150,000 to the multi-million bracket.

A left-footed central midfielder standing at 1.79m, Nadir is eligible to represent both Morocco and France. His dual-national background and experience in a major European league system add to the appeal for clubs outside France seeking technical depth in midfield.
