Bilal Brahimi’s journey in Brazil began on the training pitch as he joined Santos for his very first session with the team.

The Algerian winger looked focused and eager to settle quickly into his new surroundings, meeting teammates and working under the coaching staff for the first time.

His arrival was confirmed yesterday when Santos, currently 15th in the Brazilian league, announced that the 25-year-old had signed a deal that will run until the end of 2026. The club’s long history and reputation weighed heavily in his decision.

“Santos is one of the most prestigious clubs in Brazil and the world, where legends like Pele and Neymar played,” Brahimi said in the club’s press release. “This legacy of great players prompted me to join it.”

Brahimi began his career in France before a spell with Middlesbrough in England from 2017 to 2019, where he made one appearance. He later returned to France, representing Reims, Le Mans, Angers, Nice, and Brest. Now in Brazil, he is ready for a fresh challenge.
