Arsenal has been dealt with a huge blow as Bukayo Saka is expected to miss a further eight weeks of action.
The England attacker with Nigerian heritage was expected to make a return to the pitch soon after an earlier injury against Crystal Palace in December but he is expected to return until mid-April.
During this week’s training camp in Dubai, the club released images of the England star practising rehabilitation exercises.
However, manager Mikel Arteta will not take another chance on Saka until he is completely ready.
The winger may potentially miss up to four months of action because of his reluctance to risk Saka.
However, Saka is set to be out for an extended time, with eight weeks expected for injury recovery.
Mikel Arteta is now left with just Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling, and Ethan Nwaneri as experienced attacking options.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will travel to play Leicester City on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.
