Everton striker Beto has emerged as a rumoured target for Juventus, with the move currently rated at a 29% probability according to transfer data.
The 28-year-old centre-forward, listed with a market value of €20.00m, is being linked with a switch from the Premier League to Serie A as the Italian club assess options to reinforce their attack. Data from Transfermarkt places Juventus as the potential destination, although there is no agreement in place and no indication yet of contract terms, leaving open the possibility that Everton could face a decision over whether to cash in now or risk the player edging towards free agency in future.
Beto, who represents both Guinea-Bissau and Portugal at nationality level, currently wears the number 9 shirt for Everton. Standing at 1.94m and operating primarily as a centre-forward, he offers a traditional physical presence in attack with a right-footed profile that has previously attracted interest across Europe. The speculation comes against the backdrop of his fluctuating valuation: after peaking at €25.00m while at Udinese, his value has stabilised around the €20.00m mark during his time at Goodison Park.
Before joining Everton from Udinese, Beto built his reputation in Portugal with Portimonense, rising rapidly from the club’s U23 side into the first team. Earlier stops in his career took him through Clube Olímpico Montijo and several youth levels at URD Tires after an early spell in the SL Benfica youth system. Born in Lisbon on 31 January 1998, he has therefore experienced both Portuguese and Italian top-flight football prior to his Premier League move.
Should Juventus decide to formalise their interest, a transfer to Turin would mark another major step in Beto’s late-blooming career and could prove pivotal in shaping his standing in European football, either as a leading line in Serie A or as a forward whose potential prompted, but never quite delivered, a big-club move.
