Besiktas eyes Sébastien Haller for summer transfer move

Sebastien Haller 750x536 1

Besiktas is reportedly eyeing a summer move for Sébastien Haller, despite the Ivorian striker having two seasons left on his contract with Borussia Dortmund. This revelation comes from insights shared by our colleagues at 225foot regarding the Turkish club’s interest in the prolific forward.

Initially targeting Ivorian striker Christian Kouamé, who is poised to return to Fiorentina, Besiktas has shifted its focus to Sébastien Haller.

Despite facing multiple injuries this season, Haller has showcased his prowess, tallying three goals and an assist in 18 appearances across all competitions, a record that has captured the attention of the Black Eagles.

The competition for Haller’s signature is heating up, with Besiktas facing stiff competition from Al Hilal, who are also keen on securing the services of the Dortmund striker.

Haller, who is contracted with Borussia Dortmund until June 2026, carries a market value of €14 million.

While the prospect of acquiring Haller presents an enticing opportunity for Besiktas, various factors such as transfer costs and remuneration could potentially influence the outcome of negotiations.

Nevertheless, the Turkish club remains determined in its pursuit of the talented forward, aiming to bolster its attacking lineup ahead of the upcoming season.

As speculation mounts surrounding Haller’s future, football enthusiasts eagerly await developments in what promises to be a captivating transfer saga.

Will Besiktas succeed in luring the Ivorian striker to Turkey, or will Al Hilal emerge victorious in securing his signature? The answer lies in the intricate negotiations set to unfold in the coming months.
