Besiktas eye Benfica winger Dodi Lukebakio
Belgian winger Dodi Lukebakio has been linked with a move from Benfica to Besiktas, with the Turkish club emerging as a possible destination for the 28-year-old.
Lukebakio joined Benfica from Sevilla on 1 September 2025 in a €20m transfer and is under contract with the Portuguese club until 30 June 2030. The reported interest comes less than a year after his arrival in Lisbon.
The right-sided attacker has made limited appearances for Benfica so far this season, featuring once in Liga Portugal and once in Europa League qualifying. He provided one assist in 15 minutes during the European tie but has not started either match.
Lukebakio also played three times for Belgium at the 2026 World Cup, beginning one of those matches. He has represented clubs in Belgium, England, Germany and Spain during his career, including Anderlecht, Watford, Hertha BSC and Sevilla.
The player’s current market value is listed at €15m, while his Benfica contract has five years remaining. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the proposed move to Besiktas remains at the rumour stage.
