Besiktas consider Club Brugge winger Carlos Forbs after title-winning season

Carlos Forbs, a Portuguese and Guinea-Bissau winger at Club Brugge, is being linked with a move to Besiktas in Turkey’s Super Lig.

The 22-year-old has started Club Brugge’s first two Jupiler Pro League matches this season, scoring once and providing one assist. He also began the Belgian club’s Volkswagen Supercup match.

Forbs joined Club Brugge from Ajax in July 2025 in a deal worth €6m and helped the club win the Belgian championship in his first season. His current market value is €20m, while his contract runs until 30 June 2029.

The potential move is rated at 53%, although there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs. A transfer to Besiktas would come after a series of moves for the left-footed right winger, who previously spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Wolves from Ajax.

Forbs began his development at Manchester City and was the top scorer in Premier League 2 in 2022-23, scoring 21 goals for the club’s under-21 side. He joined Ajax from Manchester City U21 in August 2023 for €14m before moving to Wolves on loan a year later.

Forbs remains a Club Brugge player and is under contract with the Belgian champions until 2029.
