Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas are set to sign England striker of Nigerian descent, Tammy Abraham.
According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, the Turkish outfit has reached a verbal agreement to secure the permanent signing of the former Chelsea forward from Italian club AS Roma.
Besiktas are expected to pay around 20 million euros to AS Roma to facilitate the transfer.
“Besiktas reach verbal agreement to sign Tammy Abraham on permanent deal from AS Roma, here we go!
“Transfer fee around €20m. Abraham has accepted the destination. Time for paperwork between clubs. Tammy, set to fly to Turkey,” Fabrizio Romano said on X.
Further checks have revealed that Tammy Abraham will travel to Turkey on Monday.
Upon arrival, the forward will undergo a mandatory medical examination. It is understood that the attacker is excited about the anticipated transfer and believes it will be a good next step in his career.
He will be expected to bolster the squad of Besiktas next season.
