Bertrand Fourrier: France-Cameroon striker joins Ural from Septemvri Sofia in €250k deal

France-Cameroon forward Bertrand Fourrier has joined Russian side Ural from Bulgarian club Septemvri Sofia in a permanent transfer worth €250,000. The 28-year-old centre-forward has signed a contract with the Yekaterinburg club running until 30 June 2028.

Fourrier, who was born in Douala and holds both French and Cameroonian nationality, arrives in Russia with a listed market value of €800,000. Standing at 1.88m and predominantly right-footed, he is expected to operate through the middle of the attack for his new side.

The move brings his spell in Bulgaria’s top flight, the efbet Liga, to an end. Fourrier had yet to feature in the 2026-27 league campaign for Septemvri, with no appearances recorded in the opening two possible matches before making the switch.

Ural, competing in Russia’s first division, have moved to secure the striker on a long-term basis as they shape their squad for the coming seasons. His deal ties him to the club for two years, covering the 2026-27 and 2027-28 campaigns.

Fourrier’s transfer was completed on 27 July 2026, confirming his status as a Ural player ahead of the remainder of the league season.
