There is a conflict between Olympique de Marseille (OM) and Stéphane Tapie, son of former Marseille president Bernard Tapie. OM has initiated legal proceedings against Stéphane Tapie for insults directed at Vincent Labrune, the president of the club. Stéphane Tapie strongly criticized Labrune during a radio broadcast after OM’s 1-4 loss to Lyon. As a result, OM and Labrune are seeking legal action against Stéphane Tapie for public insults and incitement to hatred. OM expressed concern about the deliberate desire to destabilize the club and its president. Stéphane Tapie, however, stands by his comments and takes responsibility for his actions.
