Benoît Trémoulinas looks set to remain at Saint-Étienne next season after a successful loan spell. The club’s coach Christophe Galtier is keen to keep the French left-back, and both Trémoulinas and the club have reportedly agreed on salary terms.
Trémoulinas, who previously earned around €150,000 per month, has accepted a salary reduction to about €90,000 per month to fit within Saint-Étienne’s salary structure.
On the transfer front, Saint-Étienne and Dynamo Kyiv are close to finalizing a deal. Dynamo Kyiv is asking for between €2 million and €3 million, below the €4 million purchase option. The sticking point remains the payment terms, as Dynamo Kyiv wants the full amount upfront, while Saint-Étienne prefers to spread payments.
With negotiations ongoing, the transfer could be wrapped up in the next 48 hours, making Trémoulinas a permanent player at Le Chaudron.
