Ghana forward Benjamin Tetteh is being linked with a move from NK Maribor to Kalba FC in the UAE Pro League.

The 29-year-old centre-forward joined Maribor permanently from FC Metz on 1 July 2025 and remains under contract with the Slovenian club until 31 May 2027. The reported interest comes after a notable 2025-26 campaign in which Tetteh finished as the Prva Liga’s top scorer with 12 goals.

Tetteh has not featured for Maribor in the current 2026-27 league campaign, with the club having played six possible matches at the time of the latest update. He has yet to make an appearance, start a game or record a goal or assist this season.

The striker previously spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Maribor from Metz before returning to France at the end of that spell. His permanent move back to Slovenia followed, and his current market value is listed at €900,000.

Tetteh began his European career with Standard Liege after leaving Ghanaian club Dreams FC. He has also played for Bohemians 1905, Sparta Prague, Yeni Malatyaspor, Hull City and Metz, while winning the Belgian Cup with Standard Liege and the Czech Cup with Sparta Prague.

Any move to Kalba FC would therefore represent a return to a new league for Tetteh, with the forward’s Maribor contract still scheduled to run until the end of May 2027.
