Benjamin Moukandjo, born on November 12, 1988, in Douala, Cameroon, is a 25-year-old professional footballer who currently plays as a striker or attacking midfielder for AS Nancy-Lorraine.

Background: Moukandjo began his football journey in Cameroon, training at the Kadji Sport Academies. He joined the KSA first team in 2005, showcasing his talent. In June 2007, he moved to Stade Rennes at the age of 18. However, he saw limited playing time with the Breton club and was subsequently transferred to Nîmes Olympique in Ligue 2 during the summer transfer window of 2009. His performances attracted attention from Ligue 1, leading to a transfer to AS Monaco on January 31, 2011. After Monaco’s relegation to Ligue 2, he sought a new challenge and signed a three-season contract with AS Nancy-Lorraine on August 15, 2011.

National Team Selections:

  • 2006-2007: Represented Cameroon at the age of 20.
  • 2007-2008: Played for Olympic Cameroon.
  • Since 2011: Has been part of the senior national team for Cameroon.
