Beninese football is in mourning following the death of former Natitingou Lions footballer Konabé Tchomogo. He was an influential figure in the Atacora Football League. Konabé Tchomogo is also the father of two well-known figures in current Beninese football: Oumar Tchomogo, a former international and current member of the technical management of the Benin national team, and Séidath Tchomogo, an international defender and defensive midfielder for the Benin national team.
