The 20th round of the Benin Pro League delivered a series of intense clashes on Saturday, March 1, with several teams securing vital victories.

ASPAC, Panthers FC, and Damissa FC all bounced back with crucial wins, while Bani Gansé was held to a frustrating draw against Abeilles FC.

ASPAC secures hard-fought victory over USS Kraké

After being held to a disappointing draw by Adjidja FC in their previous outing, ASPAC responded with a determined performance against USS Kraké at the St. Louis Stadium.

The visitors claimed a narrow 1-0 victory, thanks to Rachid Gado’s decisive goal.

Gado capitalized on an impressive solo run by Issa Issa, slotting home the winner to secure all three points.

The result marks ASPAC’s first triumph of the second half of the season, offering a much-needed morale boost as they look to climb the league table.

Panthers FC ends winless streak, Moussa Yarou Mayé shines

Elsewhere, Panthers FC returned to winning form with a dominant 2-0 victory over Dynamique de Djougou.

The match saw an outstanding display from forward Moussa Yarou Mayé, who found the net for the 12th time this season.

His goal ended a personal and team drought, with Panthers FC having failed to win in their last two outings.

Mayé’s performance not only secured three points for his team but also cemented his position as the league’s top scorer.

Bani Gansé falters against Abeilles FC

Bani Gansé, aiming for a third consecutive win, was forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Abeilles FC at the municipal stadium of Tchaourou.

The visitors struggled to break down a resilient Abeilles side, ultimately dropping two valuable points in their bid to climb the standings.

Damissa FC, AS Cotonou, and Boa FC Also Prevail

Damissa FC continued their strong form with a convincing 3-0 victory over Dynamo P, reinforcing their place in the upper half of the table.

Meanwhile, AS Cotonou edged AS Police 1-0, and Boa FC secured a thrilling 3-2 win over AS Tonnerre in one of the most entertaining matches of the day.
