Ben White was absent from Arsenal’s first-team training session on Monday after suffering an injury during Saturday’s 4-0 win over Sunderland in the fourth round of the Premier League.
The right-back was withdrawn at half-time against Sunderland, with Jurrien Timber replacing him for the second half.
White’s failure to appear in Arsenal’s first training session since the match suggests the injury could keep him out for a period of time.
The England international began the season as Mikel Arteta’s first-choice right-back. If he remains unavailable, Timber is expected to fill that position.
Arsenal face Ipswich Town on Tuesday in the third round of the EFL Cup.
