Salim Seba insists Belouizdad will overturn result against Zamalek

CR Belouizdad interim coach Salim Seba insists his outfit will overturn the result of the CAF Confederation Cup semifinal against Zamalek in Egypt.

The Egyptian giants cruised to a 1-0 victory over the Algerian powerhouse in the first leg, held at the Nelson Mandela Stadium on Saturday.

Juan Bezerra emerged as the hero of the match after scoring in the 28th-minute mark to secure a crucial away win for the visitors.

Speaking beIN SPORTS after the match, Salim Seba was left to rue missed chances, while promising to overturn the result in Egypt to secure a place in the final.

“I have been with CR Belouizdad for 7 years and whenever the club needs me I will answer the call.” He said after the match. “We played a good match and created several scoring opportunities, but we wasted them. That’s football.”

“We lost the first leg, but God willing, we will turn the tie around in Egypt and win. We will prepare well for the return match.”

The Algerian football powerhouse will travel to Cairo next weekend for the return clash against Zamalek at the Cairo International Stadium.
