Day 1 of the Standard de Liège training camp brings positive developments for Daniel Opare. Initially sidelined for the clash against Zulte Waregem due to a strained hamstring in his left leg, the Standard de Liège defender is set to make a swift return to action in the Jupiler Pro League.
According to an announcement made on the club’s official Twitter account, Daniel Opare is on the brink of rejoining the Liège squad for collective training: “Good news for Daniel Opare who should resume collective training at the end of the week,” reads the tweet from the Jupiler Pro League leaders.
While Opare’s return to group training is imminent, it remains premature to determine whether he will feature in the upcoming trip of the Rouches to Charleroi.
