BELGIUM-RC GENK: SENEGALESE MBODJI TAKES 4 MATCHES

It’s unfortunate news for Kara Mbodji, who has been handed a suspension for his actions during the match against Anderlecht in the Jupiler League. Mbodji’s exclusion during the 28th day of the league stemmed from a severe gesture directed at Serbian player Aleksandar Mitrovic’s knee.

As a result of his actions, the league’s Disciplinary Commission has sanctioned Mbodji with a four-match suspension, meaning he will miss his club’s upcoming fixtures. Additionally, he has been fined 600 euros for his behavior.

This is not the first time Mbodji has faced disciplinary action in matches against Anderlecht this season, as he was previously excluded in the first leg encounter between the two teams.
