Ivorian striker Yaya Soumahoro has secured a two-year contract extension with Gent in the Jupiler Pro League, linking him to the Belgian club until 2016. The 24-year-old forward has been part of Gent since July 2010, following a stint with the Thai club Muang Thong United.
As Gent competes in the Jupiler Pro League, currently standing in 8th place after 10 matchdays, the contract extension reflects the club’s confidence in Soumahoro’s contributions to their squad. The Ivorian striker will continue to be a part of Gent’s endeavors in Belgian football.
