Fabrice N’Sakala faced suspension following his expulsion during Anderlecht’s victory at Ostend. The former Trojan was red-carded for a tackle deemed dangerous on Yohan Brouckaert, and the Disputes Commission of the Belgian Union labeled his intervention as “irresponsible.”
As a result, the French defender will be suspended for two matches, with an additional suspended match, and has been fined 500 euros. Anderlecht rejected the prosecution’s proposal of a three-match suspension.
N’Sakala will be absent from the match against Genk on November 10 and the game against Charleroi on November 23. While the player has the option to appeal this decision, he is expected to be on the field at the Parc des Princes this evening to face PSG.
