Kouyaté is expected to retain his place in the Anderlecht defense until the end of 2013, with reassurances for the player’s recovery. Consequently, he will be available for Anderlecht’s last two matches of the year, including the Jupiler Pro League Clasico against Standard on the upcoming Sunday.
Despite the injury scare, the 23-year-old defender is anticipated to fulfill his commitments for the remainder of 2013, which includes a challenging fixture against Standard and a match against Zulte Waregem.
