Belgian-born attacker of Ghanaian descent, Jesse Bisiwu, is reportedly on the radar of Spanish giants FC Barcelona.
Jesse Bisiwu, the 18-year-old attacker from Club Brugge, is reportedly attracting interest from Spanish giants FC Barcelona.
Bisiwu’s agent, Mobindi Marthi, confirmed that discussions with Barcelona are ongoing, emphasising a careful and measured approach.
“It’s true that Barcelona is closely monitoring Jesse and is one of the clubs actively following his situation. However, we are proceeding calmly and step by step,” Marthi said.
“Given the player’s talent, it is perfectly normal that there are official contacts with several clubs, including big clubs like Barcelona.”
According to reports, Barcelona’s sporting director Deco recently travelled to Belgium to meet with Bisiwu’s representatives and discuss a potential contract for the summer of 2026.
The winger, who currently features for Bruges’ youth and reserve squads, has expressed a preference for a move to Camp Nou, signalling his ambition to join one of Europe’s elite clubs in the near future.
