Belgian-Congolese winger Samuel Mbangula has agreed personal terms with German outfit Werder Bremen ahead of his potential move to the club in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old has emerged as a top transfer target for the Bundesliga outfit and are determined to add the winger to their ranks for the 2025/26 football campaign.
Mbangula has been offered a five-year deal to join Werder Bremen this summer. However, the club will have to meet Juventus asking price before finalizing the move.
Werder Bremen have submitted a second offer for the Belgian youth international after their opening approach of €8m was declined.
The Italian giants are demanding a transfer fee around €10-12m for a player who made his debut for the club in the first game of the 2024/25 season (scoring and assisting in the 3-0 win over Como 1907).
Mbangula made 32 appearances across all competitions for Juventus, registering four goals and five assists.
Meanwhile, Mbangula has attracted a hosts of suitors, with Premier League clubs, Brentford and Strasbourg keeping tabs on the winger. It remains to be seen whether they will look to swoop in and steal Mbangula from under Werder Bremen’s noses.
