Belgium-born forward of Congolese descent, Cyril Ngonge, is close to completing his move to Italian side Torino.
According to transfer insider Nicolo Schira, the 24-year-old is expected to undergo his medical and sign with the Turin-based club within the next 48 hours, completing a move aimed at revitalising his career after a challenging stint with Napoli.
Ngonge’s deal will initially see him join Torino on loan, with a mandatory purchase clause and a contract that runs until 2029 (structured as 1+3 years). The Granata moved swiftly to secure the winger as they seek to bolster their attacking options ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.
Renowned for his pace and technical flair, Ngonge is expected to fit well into Ivan Juric’s tactical setup and could become a key contributor for Torino.
Having struggled for regular minutes at Napoli, the former Hellas Verona man is eager for a fresh start and more consistent playing time.
Ngong’s move is expected to be completed on Tuesday.
