Club Brugge forward Chamseddine Talbi is on the verge of making his international debut for Morocco, AfricaSoccer has learned.
The talented attacker is expected to be included in the Atlas Lions’ squad for their upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Niger and Tanzania next week.
Talbi recently switched his sports nationality to represent Morocco instead of Belgium, having previously played for Belgium’s youth teams.
Meanwhile, Morocco’s head coach, Walid Regragui, is set to announce his squad later today during a press conference.
His selection is expected to be dominated by European-based players, with only three representatives from Arab leagues.
Talbi’s inclusion marks a significant boost for Morocco as they prepare for the crucial qualifiers. The forward has been in solid form for Club Brugge, registering five goals and three assists in 21 Belgian league appearances this season.
