It’s great to hear that Togo is participating in the Under-21 Beach Volleyball World Cup in Croatia. The Togo team, consisting of Antoine Agbégninou Kossi and Florent Apezoumon, earned their spot in the competition after their final loss to Nigeria in the African Cup of the discipline organized by Ivory Coast.
This opportunity is especially significant as Togo had faced visa-related challenges in the previous edition, preventing them from traveling to Canada for the competition. Now, the team has the chance to showcase their skills on the global stage.
In both the Men’s and Ladies categories, African representation is notable, with Nigeria being joined by Tunisia in the Men’s category and Sierra Leone and Ghana joining Nigeria in the Ladies category. This global competition provides a platform for teams from different continents to compete and share their passion for beach volleyball. Good luck to the Togo team and all participating nations in the Under-21 Beach Volleyball World Cup!
