Despite being behind at halftime with a score of 2-0, courtesy of Vitalii Sydprenko, who not only demonstrated excellent goalkeeping skills but also opened the scoring, Senegal turned the tables in the second half. Babacar Fall played a pivotal role with a brace, ultimately finishing the match with a total of 4 goals.
In the other match of the group, Brazil asserted its dominance with a 4-1 victory over Iran. Senegal’s next challenge will be against the Asian team on Friday, providing another opportunity for the Lions to showcase their beach soccer prowess in the tournament.
