BBC AFRICAN PLAYER OF THE YEAR: FINAL VOTING HOURS APPROACH AS STARS COMPETE FOR 2014 TITLE
Voting for the BBC African Player of the Year 2014 closes this Monday, with five outstanding finalists in the running:
Yaya Touré (Manchester City & Ivory Coast)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund & Gabon)
Vincent Enyeama (Lille & Nigeria)
Gervinho (AS Roma & Ivory Coast)
Yacine Brahimi (FC Porto & Algeria)
Former France international and Manchester City youth coach Patrick Vieira has already made his support public, backing Yaya Touré. “Glad to see Yaya Touré nominated for the BBC African Player of the Year award. What a player,” he posted on Twitter, encouraging fans to vote for the Ivorian midfield powerhouse.
The winner will be announced on December 1st.
