Etoile du Sahel Sign Ivorian Prospect Bayo Vakoun Issouf on Five-Year Deal
Etoile Sportive du Sahel have secured the services of promising Ivorian forward Bayo Vakoun Issouf, who has signed a five-year contract with the Tunisian giants. The 18-year-old joins as part of the club’s ongoing strategy to invest in young African talent.
Club executive director Houcine Jenayah confirmed the signing and highlighted that this move aligns with ESS’s long-term recruitment policy. “This transfer is part of our strategy to recruit young talents early,” Jenayah stated.
Vakoun Issouf joins a growing list of youth signings by the club, following in the footsteps of Cameroonian midfielder Franck Kom and Guinean winger Alkhali Bangoura, both of whom were brought in with similar development objectives.
The signing is viewed as a key move for the future, as ESS continue to build a competitive squad while nurturing talent capable of excelling both domestically and on the continental stage.
