Bayern Munich unwilling to reduce €15 million fee for Sacha Boey
FC Bayern Munich have reportedly taken a firm stance over the future of France-born defender of Cameroonian descent, Sacha Boey, insisting they will not accept any offer below the agreed €15 million purchase option.
Boey, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been the subject of growing transfer discussions, with reports suggesting the Turkish club are attempting to renegotiate the fee and lower the price.
However, according to Bild’s “Bayern Insider” podcast, the German giants are not willing to make any financial concessions regarding the right-back’s future.
Reporter Julian Agardi was quoted as saying that Bayern remain committed to the original agreement, stressing that the €15 million clause is non-negotiable and reflects the player’s value.
The stance means Galatasaray would need to meet the full option price if they wish to make Boey’s move permanent, with Bayern showing no interest in a discounted deal.
The situation now leaves the Turkish champions with a key decision to make as they weigh up whether to activate the clause or explore other defensive options ahead of the new season.
