Limited chances, big competition: Nicolas Jackson’s Bayern future in doubt

Bayern Munich are busy in the transfer market looking for a new striker after deciding against the permanent signing of Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson.

The forward, who joined on loan from Chelsea last summer, is expected to return next summer as Bayern move in a different direction.

Reports from Sport Bild indicate that the German champions will not activate Jackson’s €65 million release clause, with the player yet to make the kind of impact that would justify such an investment. As a result, Bayern are exploring several alternatives in the transfer market.

One of the standout options is Franculino Dju of FC Midtjylland. The Guinea-Bissau striker has impressed in Denmark, earning strong admiration within Bayern’s hierarchy.

Sporting director Christoph Freund is said to be particularly enthusiastic about the young forward and is closely tracking his development.

Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic also remains on Bayern’s radar. According to Sport Bild, the club held two discussions with his representatives in October, keeping the door open for a possible move.
