Bayern Munich reportedly eye Felix Nmecha
Bayern Munich have reportedly contacted Felix Nmecha’s camp over a possible summer move, with Borussia Dortmund bracing for fresh transfer interest in the in-form midfielder.
According to Bild, Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has spoken to Nmecha’s representatives to talk about a deal this summer.
The 25-year-old joined Dortmund from VfL Wolfsburg on 3 July 2023 in a deal worth about €30 million, signing a contract that runs until June 2028. His start in Dortmund was disrupted by injuries, including a hip problem in November 2023 that kept him out until 2024.
That setback limited him to just 10 starts in the 2023-24 Bundesliga campaign, but he has since grown into a more reliable option. Last season, Nmecha played 29 matches, scoring two goals and providing three assists, showing the progress Dortmund expected when they signed him.
Interest in the Germany international has not been limited to Bayern, with Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid also monitoring his situation. Dortmund are said to want €100 million this summer, while his release clause will rise to €80 million in 2027 and then €70 million the following year.
