German giants Bayern Munich will reportedly go all out to sign England defender of Ivorian descent Marc Guehi in the 2026 summer transfer window.

Guehi was previously on Bayern’s radar during the 2025 summer window, with negotiations said to have reached an advanced stage. However, the move ultimately collapsed when Bayern were unable to offload Minjae Kim, leaving no space in the squad for another central defender.

Liverpool also came close to securing Guehi’s signature during that same window. Reports from England suggested the player had even completed a medical, but the transfer was blocked by then-manager Oliver Glasner at the final moment.

Now 25, Guehi is once again attracting serious interest. According to SPORT BILD, Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund has already made inquiries about the defender’s availability, while Max Eberl has also been in contact with Guehi’s representatives.

With Bayern determined to bolster their defensive options, the club appears ready to go all in to bring Guehi to the Allianz Arena this time around.
