Bayern Munich plan long-term deal for Michael Olise with €25m salary

Bayern Munich are preparing a new long-term contract for France winger Michael Olise, with Bild reporting that the club want to extend his deal until the summer of 2032.

The German newspaper says Bayern are also working on a significant increase to Olise’s salary, potentially taking it to €25m. That would put him level with England captain Harry Kane and Germany international Jamal Musiala as the highest-paid players in the squad.

Olise’s representatives, however, are seeking the inclusion of a release clause worth more than €200m. The negotiations form part of Bayern’s efforts to secure the forward’s future after his performances since joining the club.

The 23-year-old moved to Bayern Munich from English club Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024. His current contract runs until the summer of 2029, but the Bundesliga side are already looking to extend that arrangement by a further three years.

Olise has made 114 appearances for Bayern Munich, scoring 50 goals and providing 58 assists. He has also made a strong start to the current season, scoring eight goals and setting up four more in seven matches.

Since arriving at Bayern, Olise has won the Bundesliga twice, the German Super Cup twice and the German Cup once.
