Bayern Munich not considering signing Nicolas Jackson on a permanent deal
German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly not considering signing Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson on a permanent deal at the end of his current loan contract.
Jackson joined the German champions in the final hours of the summer transfer window on a season-long loan. However, the 24-year-old has struggled to make a significant impact and has faced criticism for his performances.
According to Sky Germany, Bayern view the financial package required to make the deal permanent as too expensive and are unlikely to pursue the option to buy. This means Jackson is expected to return to Chelsea when his loan spell ends.
Despite this, sources indicate that Bayern are pleased with his attitude, integration into the squad, and work ethic during training sessions. So far, Jackson has made nine appearances in all competitions for Bayern, contributing two goals and one assist.
The Bavarian club will reportedly turn their attention to other attacking options ahead of next season.
