Bayern Munich are continuously keeping tabs on Germany-born defender of Senegalese descent, Malick Thiaw.
The club, according to sources, have doubts about centre-backs Dayot Upamecano and Min-jae Kim.
The club is said to be open to the departures of the two defenders and has already put plans in motion to bring in replacement.
As part of those plans, the club has identified Malick Thiaw as a player of interest and is now keeping tabs on the AC Milan defender.
The 23-year-old defender is now on the transfer list of Bayern Munich but a move will only be made in the summer transfer window.
Although Malick Thiaw feels happy at AC Milan, he could be tempted to move to Bayern Munich if he receives the right offer.
Fellow German Bundesliga side, Bayern Leverkusen, are also interested in signing Thiaw but are behind Bayern Munich in the race.
Thiaw’s value is around €25 to €30 million.
