German giants Bayern Munich are not giving up on signing Spanish-Ghanaian winger Nico Williams this summer.
The Bundesliga champions want to strengthen their attack and have decided to recruit the Athletic Club youngster.
For Bayern Munich, Nico Williams is a top priority target, with the quality to significantly improve the team’s attack.
Recently, some reports indicated that FC Barcelona have re-entered the race to sign Williams.
Additionally, sources indicated that Nico Williams fancies a move to FC Barcelona over a move to FC Bayern Munich.
Commenting on this, Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has said the club is not in the known of these issues.
“I don’t know anything about that,” Eberl told Sky Sports after Bayern Munich defeated Auckland City 10-0 in their opening match at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
While Bayern Munich are aware that other clubs are interested in Nico Williams, they are unfazed and will push to secure his signing this summer.
