Bayern Munich among clubs tracking Ivory Coast prospect Salomon Kourouma
Europe’s leading clubs are closely monitoring 15-year-old Salomon Sekou Kourouma, with the Swiss-born winger of Ivorian descent attracting widespread interest after an impressive rise through the youth ranks at Servette FC.
Despite his young age, Kourouma has already emerged as one of the most sought-after youth prospects in European football.
Reports indicate that several clubs from across the continent have taken concrete steps to secure his signature, with both written and verbal offers said to have been presented as competition intensifies for the talented winger.
His rapid development has made him one of the standout young players in Switzerland, and his performances have caught the attention of clubs from Germany, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
Among those reportedly showing serious interest are Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig. Both clubs are said to have invited Kourouma and his representatives to visit their training facilities as they assess the possibility of bringing the teenager into their youth development systems.
Portuguese side Benfica has also entered the race, extending an invitation as it looks to convince the youngster to continue his development in Lisbon.
Interest has also spread across Spain, where both Celta Vigo and Levante are following the winger’s progress. In Italy, Serie A clubs Como, Parma and Torino are also reported to be monitoring his situation closely as they consider potential moves for one of the continent’s emerging talents.
While interest from abroad continues to grow, Servette FC remains determined to retain one of its brightest academy prospects.
The Geneva-based club, where Kourouma has been developing since joining the academy in February 2025, is reportedly eager to secure his long-term future by offering him his first professional contract.
Such a move would allow the youngster to continue his football education in a familiar environment despite increasing interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Kourouma’s impressive numbers at youth level have played a significant role in attracting attention from elite scouts.
Representing Servette’s Under-16 side, the right winger has scored nine goals and provided five assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.
Those performances have highlighted his attacking quality and reinforced his reputation as one of the academy’s most exciting young players.
Born in Geneva and eligible through his Ivorian heritage, Kourouma’s progress is being watched with growing interest as he continues to establish himself among Europe’s most promising teenage talents.
Although no decision has been made regarding his next step, the level of interest surrounding the 15-year-old underlines his growing reputation.
Whether he remains with Servette or eventually joins one of Europe’s leading clubs, his development is expected to remain closely followed in the coming months.
