Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen remain keen on signing Malian international Moussa Sylla as they prepare to strengthen their squad ahead of the winter transfer window.

Under the guidance of head coach Xabi Alonso, Leverkusen has rediscovered its form and is now eyeing reinforcements to maintain their momentum. According to Africafoot, the club has been closely monitoring Sylla’s performances at Schalke 04, where the 25-year-old forward has been in sensational form.

Since his €3 million transfer to the Bundesliga 2 side, Sylla has exceeded expectations, becoming a key figure in Schalke’s attack. His remarkable record of 18 goals this season, including 11 strikes in just 17 league matches, has made him one of the standout players in Germany’s second tier.

The Malian striker’s success has not only caught the attention of Bayer Leverkusen but also attracted interest from Bayern Munich, who are reportedly intrigued by his goal-scoring prowess.

Sylla, a former AS Monaco player, has adapted swiftly to life at Schalke, turning heads with his clinical finishing and consistency. His performances have positioned him as a prime target for Leverkusen, who are eager to bolster their attacking options as they aim to maintain their strong domestic and European campaigns.

With multiple clubs keeping tabs on Sylla, the upcoming transfer window promises to be pivotal in shaping the next chapter of the Malian forward’s career.
