Togolese international Floyd Ayité has made a blistering start to the 2015–16 Ligue 1 campaign, finding the net twice in as many games for SC Bastia. Despite growing interest from several clubs, Bastia head coach Ghislain Printant has made his position clear: Ayité remains a key part of the squad. “Floyd is a Sporting Club Bastia player. For my part, there is no question of a Sporting player leaving us,” Printant stated following the team’s second match of the season.

Rennes, who were on the receiving end of Ayité’s decisive performance on opening day, are among the clubs to have expressed interest in the 26-year-old. Interest has also emerged from abroad, with Turkish side Trabzonspor and German Bundesliga outfit Mainz reportedly pursuing the forward.
Ayité’s strong performances, coupled with his attacking versatility and international pedigree, make him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen their attacking line.
