A report in Spain says Alejandro Balde is now very close to leaving Barcelona in the January transfer window after falling down manager Hansi Flick’s list of choices.
AS reports that Liverpool remain strongly interested in signing the left-back and will continue their efforts to complete a deal in January.
Chelsea and Milan are also pursuing Balde, while Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a €40m offer for the Barcelona player in the next transfer window.
Balde is considering leaving the Catalan club because of his reduced standing under Flick. He still wants to succeed at Barcelona, but a move has become a strong possibility given his current situation.
The 12 minutes Balde has played for Barcelona in all competitions this season have prompted him to seriously consider accepting one of the offers he has received to leave in January.
