Jean-Marie Dongou, a promising Cameroonian striker, has extended his contract with FC Barcelona until 2017. Despite being just 18 years old, Dongou has already made three appearances for Barcelona’s first team and is considered a significant talent in football circles. He primarily plays with Barcelona’s reserve team but has shown glimpses of his potential during his time with the senior squad.
Dongou, who hails from Samuel Eto’o’s academy, joined Barcelona in 2008 and has since developed within the club’s youth system. His compatriot Macky Frank Bagnack, also from Eto’o’s academy, has also extended his contract until 2017. Although Bagnack has yet to make an appearance for the first team, Barcelona sees potential in him and has secured his services for the coming years.
