Barcelona have turned down Manchester United’s tempting offer for Spanish defender of Guinea-Bissau descent, Alejandro Balde.
According to information gathered, the English Premier League side offered to sign Balde for a fee of 50 million Euros in the summer transfer window.
Barcelona, believing the full-back is worth more than the value, has rejected the offer.
Alejandro Balde, 21, is regarded as one of the talented young full-backs in the world. He trained at La Masia before breaking into the Barcelona first team.
Under manager Hansi Flick, the left-back has been a sensation, helping Barcelona return to the top as one of the most exciting and strongest teams in Europe.
Although Manchester United’s reported initial offer has been rejected, it is understood that the club will try again with another offer in the summer transfer window.
The new offer is likely going to be more than the initial 50 million Euros that was rejected.
Other European clubs are believed to be monitoring Alejandro Balde and will also try to sign the defender at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
