Barcelona put PSG defeat behind them as Hans Flick targets Real Madrid win

Barcelona manager Hans Flick says his side have moved on from their defeat by Paris Saint-Germain and are focused on beating Real Madrid in the Spanish league.

Barcelona face Real Madrid in the 10th round of the Spanish league at Camp Nou, with Flick confident his players are ready to respond.

“I saw the players in very good condition,” Flick told DAZN. “We gave them a day off, and it was important for them to step away from football for a while and clear their minds.”

Flick said the squad had now returned with renewed focus and a desire to improve.

“But now I see that everyone is fully focused, and all the players want to take another step forward,” he added. “That is what we will try to achieve today.”

Barcelona’s starting line-up is:

Goalkeeper: Joan Garcia.

Defenders: Joao Cancelo, Pau Cubarsi, Gerard Martin and Xavi Espart.

Midfielders: Fermin Lopez, Rodri and Pedri.

Forwards: Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Anthony Gordon.

Barcelona lead the Spanish league with 27 points, having won all nine of their matches so far.

Real Madrid are third in the table on 21 points.
