Spanish giants FC Barcelona have reportedly made plans for the summer transfer window with no interest in pursuing a deal to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Club.
The Spanish forward of Ghanaian descent has been a transfer target of Barcelona since 2024, when he excelled in the La Liga and also helped Spain to clinch the European Championship.
Although many anticipated that Barcelona will make an attempt to sign Nico Williams in the next summer window, it appears the club has moved on.
Information gathered indicate that although the club wants to strengthen its squad for next season, it is only planning on bringing in midfielders as well as defenders and not attackers.
Barcelona want to rely on Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, and Dani Olmo.
As a result, there will be no contact with Athletic Club to discuss any potential deal for Nico Williams.
Meanwhile, the younger brother of Inaki Williams has already stated that he is happy at Bilbao.
